  Principle of nitrogen generator

  A nitrogen generator refers to a nitrogen production equipment designed and manufactured using pressure swing adsorption technology,which uses air as raw material and physically separates oxygen and nitrogen to obtain nitrogen.The nitrogen generator uses excellent carbon molecular sieves as adsorbents and uses the principle of pressure swing adsorption(PSA)at room temperature to separate air and produce high-purity nitrogen.Usually,two adsorption towers are connected in parallel,and the imported pneumatic valve is controlled by a PLC to automatically operate,alternating between pressurized adsorption and decompression regeneration,to complete nitrogen oxygen separation and obtain the required high-purity nitrogen.

  Carbon molecular sieve can simultaneously adsorb oxygen and nitrogen in the air,and its adsorption capacity also increases with the increase of pressure,and there is no significant difference in the equilibrium adsorption capacity of oxygen and nitrogen at the same pressure.Therefore,it is difficult to achieve effective separation of oxygen and nitrogen solely based on changes in pressure.If the adsorption rate is further considered,the adsorption characteristics of oxygen and nitrogen can be effectively distinguished.The diameter of oxygen molecules is smaller than that of nitrogen molecules,so their diffusion rate is hundreds of times faster than nitrogen.Therefore,carbon molecular sieves also adsorb oxygen very quickly,so at this time,the adsorbed oxygen is mainly oxygen,and the remaining nitrogen is mainly nitrogen.Adsorption and desorption are achieved by pressure difference,with adsorption occurring when the pressure increases and desorption occurring when the pressure decreases.The distinction between oxygen and nitrogen relies on the difference in adsorption speed between the two,achieved by controlling the adsorption time.The time is controlled very short,and oxygen has been fully adsorbed,while nitrogen has not yet had time to adsorb,stopping the adsorption process.

  Characteristics of nitrogen generator

  1.The raw air is taken from nature,and only compressed air and power supply are needed to produce nitrogen.The equipment has low energy consumption and low operating costs.

  2.The purity adjustment of nitrogen is convenient,and the purity of nitrogen is only affected by the amount of nitrogen discharged.The purity of ordinary nitrogen production can be adjusted arbitrarily between 95%and 99.9%;The high-purity nitrogen generator can be adjusted freely between 99%and 99.9995%.

  3.The equipment has a high degree of automation,fast gas production,and can be unmanned.To start or shut down,simply press the button and nitrogen will be generated within 10-25 minutes of starting up.

  4.The equipment process flow is simple,the equipment structure is compact,the footprint is small,and the equipment device has strong adaptability.

  5.The blizzard method is used to load molecular sieves,avoiding the phenomenon of molecular sieve pulverization caused by high-pressure airflow impact,and allowing molecular sieves to be used for a long time.

  6.The digital flowmeter is a secondary instrument for industrial process monitoring with pressure compensation and high precision,and has the function of instantaneous flow rate and cumulative calculation.

  7.Imported analyzer for online detection,high precision,maintenance free.
